Gender Based Violence

In an effort to promote sexual and reproductive health, ERIRO works toward availing people with accurate information on affordable and acceptable contraception methods of their choice to protect themselves from sexually transmitted infections.
And when they decide to have children, women must have access to services that can help them have a fit pregnancy, safe delivery and healthy baby.
HIV and Maternal mortality are still two primary causes of death in women of reproductive age worldwide. The impact of these two epidemics is felt greatest in sub-Saharan Africa, where the highest number of people living with HIV live and maternal mortality remains unacceptably high (more than half of maternal deaths globally occur in the region).
Stigma and discrimination continue to impede the realization of people’s rights, including access to essential information and services to prevent and treat HIV. Sexual and reproductive health and rights, indeed all human rights, are essential in Ending the AIDS epidemic.
This further helps to increase the literacy levels in the communities we work in and further supports a workforce of both employees and employers which supports the general livelihood development programs of the communities we support.
